Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Eligibility
The Save Mart Companies (TSMC) / Kretschmar 10yr Celebration Gift Card Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of California and Nevada who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Smithfield Packaged Meats Corp. (“Sponsor”), TSMC, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and persons living in the same household of each are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
2. Sponsor
Sponsor: Smithfield Packaged Meats Corp., 111 Commerce Street, Smithfield, Virginia 23430. TSMC is the retail partner and prize fulfillment provider only and is not a sponsor or administrator of the Sweepstakes.
3. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on October 14, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on November 3, 2026 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.
4. How to Enter
During the Sweepstakes Period, visit kretschmardeli.com/savemartgiveaway and follow the instructions to complete and submit the entry form with your name, email address, telephone number, and ZIP code. Upon successful submission, you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.
Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address during the Sweepstakes Period. Multiple entrants may not share the same email address. Attempts to obtain additional entries through multiple identities, email addresses, registrations, automated methods, or other means may void all entries submitted by that entrant. Incomplete, inaccurate, late, lost, misdirected, or otherwise noncompliant entries are void.
5. Random Drawing and Odds
On or about November 4, 2026, Sponsor will randomly select ten (10) potential winners from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
6. Winner Notification and Verification
Each potential winner will be notified by email at the address provided with the entry and must respond within three (3) business days after the notification is sent. A potential winner may be required to confirm eligibility and provide information reasonably requested by Sponsor. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond timely, is ineligible, does not comply with these Official Rules, or if a notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and Sponsor may randomly select an alternate potential winner from the remaining eligible entries. A potential winner is not a winner unless and until eligibility has been verified and Sponsor confirms the person as a winner.
7. Prizes
Ten (10) prizes are available. Each winner will receive one (1) $100 TSMC gift card. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each prize: $100. Total ARV of all prizes: $1,000.
Gift cards are subject to the issuer’s standard terms and conditions. Prizes are not redeemable for cash except where required by law, and no substitution or transfer is permitted, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. Each winner is responsible for all applicable taxes and all costs associated with prize acceptance and use that are not expressly stated above. Limit one (1) prize per person and household. Sponsor will deliver the gift cards to the winners.
8. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In that event, Sponsor may select winners from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received before the action requiring cancellation, suspension, or modification. Sponsor may disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or operation of the Sweepstakes, violates these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner. Any attempt to deliberately damage a website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may violate criminal and civil laws, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek all available remedies.
9. Release and Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Save Mart, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt, possession, use, or misuse of a prize, including claims relating to technical errors, unauthorized human intervention, lost or delayed communications, or injury, loss, or damage to persons or property. Nothing in these Official Rules limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
10. Disputes
Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any dispute, claim, or cause of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or any prize will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction. All issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor, will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without giving effect to any choice-of-law rules. Entrant waives any right to claim punitive, incidental, consequential, or other damages, including attorneys’ fees, other than entrant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses associated with entering the Sweepstakes.
11. Privacy
Information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used to administer the Sweepstakes, verify eligibility, contact potential winners, fulfill prizes, and as otherwise described in Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at https://www.smithfieldfoods.com/privacy-policy. Entry into the Sweepstakes does not require consent to receive marketing communications.
12. Winners List
For the names of the winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: TSMC / Kretschmar 10yr Celebration Gift Card Giveaway Winners List, Smithfield Packaged Meats Corp., 111 Commerce Street, Smithfield, VA 23430. Requests must be received by January 5, 2027.
